Hi everyone.
My name is Jay, and I am a complete novice to beer brewing. Beer drinking, on the other hand, is a pastime that I have pursued for many years. ;-)
I've just bought a Kilner homebrew starter kit, and a Woodsford Wherry kit. As of this moment, the two have not been introduced to each other, so I would appreciate any tips and advice you guys might be able to provide.

Sanitise all equipment
Aerate the wort, lots.
Get a consistent fermentation temp.
Don't go and check every hour.

Thanks for the welcome, and for the tips. As soon as I have cleared some space in the 'man cave', where the brew can sit undisturbed, the brewing shall commence!

Welcome to the forum! I remember the Kilner homebrew kit (my first one) and have done the Wherry a couple of times.
