Hi there you jolly brewers
Iam after making sum passion fruit cider got a cider kit ready here but which sort off passion fruit shall i use?? (cordials, cartons???) I understand it cannot contain preservatives etc where do they sell it please???? many thanx ade x

You're gonna need to use whatever you can get for a rarer ingredient like that...I would say any sort of Jamaican place is worth hitting up locally though! Juices, concentrates are fine. Tinned, check its not in grape juice or something.

WRONG :nono: :nono:

it can contain preservatives and then by slowly heating it up the heat causes the sodium or potasium will pertisipate out as a white scum on the top and just scoup it off, no need to boil it just heat it up to hot,

or just make a stonger yeast stater so start it off inside the cider kit for a day or two to really max it out then add the juice over the next two days that will over come the juice stabilizer

If mango&passionfruit would do, Lidl have that as a nectar, about 1.60/litre
Dunno how pulpy it might be though.
