So three weeks ago some will remember i brewed a TT Landlord clone, with some mishaps i managed to create 5lts of wort and ferment it and get it into bottles with no major issues!
I tried it tonight.
I had a short small pfft when i popped the cap.
It has minimal carbonation (Sigh) must try harder when priming!
Its the colour of Newcastle brown ale... not pale...
However it is by far the best tasting home-brewed pint of anything ive ever tried! so im major chuffed with myself!
hopefully my second brew of a Centurions Ghost ale (DarkRuby) will be as satisfying.
The recipe is as Follows
TT Landlord Clone "Battlelord"
7lt boil (as per Clibits Simple AG)
Grist:
920g Marris Otter
25g Black malt
25g Crystal
Hops:
60 min boil
6g Challenger @ 60min
6g Styrian goldings @ 60min
4g styrian goldings @ 15min
4g Styrian goldings @0min
fermented for two weeks with s04
Id probably in hindsight drop the black malt to 12g and go from there in future.
