Teaching kids good techniques

I found a few old recipes for ginger beer, lemonade and orangeade. Each is made with yeast and teaches the basics for winemaking and brewing such as cleaning, sterilising, how to follow a recipe and patience.

Wish me luck as I embark upon this adventure with 3 of my little darlings :lol:

Who knows, it could be the first steps for an award winning brewer of the future :thumb:

I prefer my little darlings and anyone else for that matter to be as far away as possible while I play with me beers....

It is a two prong approach:

Teach about sterlising - the little darlings* will leave my brews alone
If they DO become award winning brewers I will be well kept in my old age :party:





* My youngest wanted to blow down the bubbler airlock "to see what would happen" I wasn't calling him darling at that point :lol:

All three brews are bottled and the kids are dissapointed :lol:

They were expecting shop-bought-style fizzy pop and instead have delicious traditional style.

I think they are quite nice but are a bit under flavoured, next time I shall double the quantities of the flavour ingredients.

Just dont let him suck on it hell learn from his mistakes lol i nearly got knocked out once doing that
