Last week i started making turbo cider. it is mow 10 days in, fermenting stopped after 5, but left it to make sure.
What is next?
siphon into a demijohn, add camden tablet then put in the shed till its clear?
Im hoping to get a capper this weekend, does it need priming when bottling?
thank you.

at that stage i just syphoned into pint bottles with a good teaspoon of white sugar - capped and shook - takes only a few days to condition and clear, i`ve never used a campden tab with my TC but others may :wha:

i find it always clears by itself :drink:

No campden tablet required :thumb:
After fermentation is over just do as rtb does :thumb:

After bottling the Turbo Cider, will the yeast at the bottom of the demijohn be sufficient to handle another load of applejuice (i.e rince and repeat ?)

cheers

I tend to do that but I wash the yeast first, swill it around to get it in suspension put it through a sieve to get out lumps, put it in a pyrex jug let it settle for a bit, clean DJ then pour the suspension and yeast layer back into next batch. If i am not brewing that week I pour it in to a sterilized jam jar and put it in the fridge then use it next week.

I do this for beer aswell

Ant Hayes a memeber of LAB wrote a great article on acid washing to remove bacteria from slurry and clean it up before repitching
