Hi All
I'm planning to order a Nordic stock pot to use as an FV, can anyone advise me on the best type of tap to fit to this pot? The other pots that I use as HLT and Boiler both have SS ball valves, should I use the same on the FV, or should I fit a barrel type tap.

It's personal choice really, I'd go stainless..not like me that
There's a surprise  .... I do want to use stainless but as I bottle most of my beer I will need to connect my "little bottler" to the tap, so would need a 90° bend.

I'd be tempted to use a ball valve, hose barb connector, and then a piece of silicone or pvc hose to the little bottler. I was going to suggest a nipple to elbow to hose barb adapt, but that's too much messing about.

Thanks Vossy, I'm undecided regarding the elbow, but I agree it's a bit of messing about. I'm still waiting for a response back from catering-service-fr :( Hopefully they will respond soon, then I can order the pots.

Where do you get your silicon hose from Vossy? the stuff I've been getting from the local garden centre is rubbish.
