Yep great little pub and they have a few good cask offerings, I had a bunch of pints of black sheep bitter when I was there last. They also keep a portion of the pub open for through hikers in case you need a warm place to rest.

They do, and they let you pitch your own too. Or at least did a few years back.

Yep I've been you find it hard to see where the customers come from but they do.
The Caterpillar is to pull out cars stuck in the snow etc
Oh and to use to snow plough the road clear for customers
