Hi all,
Any one have tips for making sweet cider from fresh apples?
All my batches are quite dry. Used juice from three trees and initial juice was lovely and sweet.

What can I add before fermentation to get a sweeter taste?

Thanks.

Check out "keeving". It's not for the faint hearted!
Alternatively, at some point during fermentation, when there's enough sweetness left in the cider, supress the yeast with something like potassium sorbate (check it out, I think that's what wine-makers use) and bottle it for sweet, still cider.

Cool. Have you any experience with flavoured cider? Not sure what to use or when to add it. I like the idea of fruit syrups.

I'm not the guy to ask as I like my drinks dry. I even make my beer with a lower FG than recommended. Sorry.
