Hi all!

This is my first question on this forum, I'd appreciate any help at all! I've been brewing wine from kits/fruit/berries for a few years now. I'm aware that your bog standard grapes haven't got the right qualities nor are they sweet enough to make wine with themselves however, I noticed at the weekend that sainsburys are selling muscat grapes. The grapes themselves are not very small but do taste sweeter than standard grapes do.

What are people's thoughts on these, would they potentially be OK albeit a bit expensive?

Thanks!

Yeah I've seen the thread it's quite useful. Have tried a couple of juice recipes, I find adding 100ml of grape juice concentrate to a juice recipe adds a lot of body.

Partly the reason I'm asking about the grapes is to practice a fresh grape recipe as I have quite a few regent vines growing at an allotment and plan on making a batch of regent wine from scratch, ie from growing the grapes myself! ☺

Hi, I know this is a very old thread, but, how are your Regent vines coming along? I would imagine that by now you'll have possibly harvested enough grapes and have made your own wine from them. Any good??
