After talking to the woman in the shop I bought myself "Cooper's Beer Enhancer 2" to use with my Coopers IPA kit

Oor pal's Da' reckons we should just use Granulated Sugar....

And I'm sure I read somewhere on the internet that Rice Syrup (ordered online @ http://www.vit-shop.co.uk/store/p/12542 ... -330g.html) should add to the ABV without comprimising flavour.

So my question is can/should I use all 3 or just the enhancer and the rice syrup and just prime the bottles with sugar. Being an IPA I don't want it super strong but don't want it to be like juice neither ..

All three will increase the alcohol in the finished beer but the beer enhancer will help with the balance and produce a more rounded beer whereas the sugars will make the beer a bit thinner.

The coopers kits are supposed to be very good so I would just stick to the beer enhancer for the main ferment and then sugar for bottle conditioning.

You'll get a better tasting beer using the bke, just use granulated sugar for priming as it's much cheaper
