Sorry folks but I am new to this and have lost my instructions.
I am just about to put 23 litres of ale into a pressure barrel, and just need to know the mass in grams of brewing sugar that would be about right to prime it. Help? I am guessing about 250 grams

thanks

Sorry, just because it's late here (in Australia) I'm going to suggest you google "Bulk Priming Calculator Beer" for a fix.

Brew Well,

Screwy

Ah, thanks for the replies, both. It does seem that somewhere in the region of 80 to 100 is more like it.

I found the calculator, thanks. Only problem is that it needs me to enter the desired amount of CO2 to be generated and I would not know what to enter for that variable.

Bottoms up
