Shameless plug here for my eldest daughter's debut credit in TV production, she was artistic director for a new arts series which airs tonight
on Sky Arts.

She designed and built the set and gets a brief interview at the end, needlesss to say the familly is very proud and excited to watch tonight, hoping it might be the start
of more freelance work to come.
Nice to get a bit of a boost after the past year.

That's great, not surprised you're very proud!
Brilliant! You must be incredibly proud
Excellent! It's great to see the kids succeed...at anything!
Well done for your daughter,

Cheers fellas, she's a hard worker and deserves her success - she's done her fair share of grafting in bar work, floristry
and helping me on site between artistic commissions.

Sky arts has some really good programming, recently watched documentarys on Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd and poetry
series with Benjamin Zephaniah. Better than a lot of the stuff the bbc puts out.

Now is the time for your daughter to go out knocking on a few doors. Nothing to lose and everything to gain with some self promotion.

Its truly nice to hear of something positive happening during these very difficult times!
Well done to your daughter, I hope its just the start of many more things to come!

It's amazing what the "next" jobs will be..I despaire at my mum and dad being techno phobes..if that's a correct description! They'll sit there looking at a bust telly coz " it's stopped working"...needed retuning or update! Got no mobile phones..not essential but it would be a damn sight easier to drop my owd mam a txt knowing that if I phone she will struggle to get out the chair or down the stairs in time.
Then there's me... playing at internet an stuff...then there's my eldest son ...16,bright as a button, just gone to college doing computer science..they had him there one day a week from secondary school for two years doing it..talks a different language when he gets on about it! I'm proud of him (and his little brother who's different to him as you could imagine!)
They should do better than the glue factory!
