Hi,

A good few months ago I started a couple of fruit tea bag wines (see signature for flavour). Both have been fermented down to 1.020ish and I can not get them to shift. I have tried shaking to get things going, adding more yeast and nutrient, have put in water bath with aquarium heater but still no joy. I can't remember what the O.G and haven't written it down  was but I followed the receipe on these forums.

Please vote on my poll and/or offer any advice. Decision day is next Saturday 9th June as planning big brew day and will need FV's

Thanks

Make a yeast starter and add the wine to the starter with an amount equal to the starter until it's all in there.

Instructions bottom of this page: http://winemaking.jackkeller.net/yeast.asp - so just keep doubling the starter's volume a minimum of four hours apart. If that doesn't get it going again, put it aside for when you made a bitterly dry wine and use it to blend.

well if you try everything and can't get it going....... then try mixing it with another wine or fruit juice that is dryer and make it more to your taste.
