Gonna be doing the following on Thursday.

2 GALLON BATCH

3KG PALE
1KG FLAKED BARLEY
250G ROAST BARLEY

Does this sound ok?

A couple of questions!

i want it to be about 7.5% so am pressuming i don't need to add any sugar?
Also i have First Gold hops at 6.2% AA what quantity should i use,(was thinking about 50g)

That all sounds fine Tatlock :thumb:
With that grain bill at 75% efficiency I would expect an OG of 1.094 so an abv of around 9%
If you want it to be 7.5% abv you could either make 11 litres instead of 9 or drop your pale malt to 2.35kg :thumb:
50g of First Gold should give you 80 to 85 IBU if you stick to your original recipe, so it'll take a while to mature ;)

Good luck with it, I'm planning to brew a big beer myself tomorrow :D
