hello people long time not post
righto i have recently brewed what i hoped would be a coffee stout but
it came out with a light mouth feel more like an old ale/porter
and a strong alcohol after taste other than that it was fantastic and realy had great coffee flavour and roast malt tones
if you have any questions please ask as i dont know what you need to solve this puzzle
KTG

if i wrote it down right it is :
7kg pale
500g terrified wheat
250g chocolate malt
250g roast barley
500g dark crystal
500g finest coffee grinds
mash 65c 90 min 22litres
batch sparge to 36 litres boiled 70 mins final amount 27litres at 1060
fg not too sure
22c ferment 9 days

Might be young and green KTG, lay it down for a couple of weeks and see if theres an improvement in taste.

22C is a bit on the warm side. When you said you tasted alcohol, my first thought was fusels which are formed at higher ferm temps. 22C is not terribly high though. You should be fine though. Is that the ambient temp in the room or the temp as measured in the wort? If it was ambient, the the wort would actually be higher and fusels are a possibility.
