Strawberry Wine

Hi

Me and wife have completed a few tin kit wines. We want to dry something different.

Is there a simple recipe to do a Strawberry style wine, also when ive been reading various posts, it appears that everybody uses demi johns. Is it ok to use a fermentation bucket

Yes, if you either -

fill it up so you don't have much headroom (do a 5 gallon batch.)

or

remove it from the bucket immediately after fermentation.

if you want to do a gallon or two, just go and buy 5L water bottles from tesco or wherever, cost about £1 each. drill a hole in the lid, attach airlock, hey presto.
