I was wondering, i have to strain off a pulp of vegetable and want to get every last drop out, is muslin a suitable strainer, would it have to be sterilized? if so would soaking in solution as i will do with utensils be ok?

Ideally yes . . . Boil for 5 minutes will do it. . . . don't use chemical sanitisers.

What I do It to lift off as much of the cap with a holey spoon, then run the rest through the strainer. . . . it just makes it faster
