Hi, i just got a "limited edition" beer kit, with some grains, hops and yeast. I can't brew it at the moment, but i had to order it, because i knew it would be sold out really fast, so i want to store it for a while..

How and where do i store what parts in the kit? Room temp, fridge, freezer?

How long is it possible to store it, before the flavor output will be decreased?

i notice that the hops ain't vacuum packed, if this is an important factor.

Keep the hops in the freezer well wrapped, they will last months and months. better if bought in vacuum packs.
Grains will keep a long time too if you keep them dry and damp free at room temp, and MICE free.
Whole grains will last longer but even the ready bought crushed grains will keep many many months.

Brilliant, thanks :thumb:

What about the yeast? Fridge, right?

Yep in the fridge, let it come back to room temp for a few hours before rehydrating or sprinkling onto wort depending on how you do it  ken
