Storage containers for buffer solutions

I'm about to make up 3 * 250ml buffer solutions to calibrate a PH meter. Will these solutions keep OK for a few months? Any restrictions on storage containers (e..g do they have to be glass?).

I get mine in liquid form in 250 ml black plastic bottles ( they are probably light sensitive) from the hydroponic shop, you will probably need to give them a shake before you use them. I do the same with brewing salts but in litre clear bottles, makes it easier to get correct dosage.
