Thanks for the offers guys the main bits I am after first are the part for the sight tube, I have the carb tube somewhere.

I think I am being a bit thick here, but do you need the tube? I have some poly tube here that you are more than welcome to if you want? I'll see if I have ny connectors.

I also have a gas reg which I wasn't looking to sell but if you need one let me know, I'm sure we could sort something :thumb:

I was burgled last year, it makes you feel uneasy in your own home. I can only wish the most the most extreme unpleasantness, and maybe a sore sexual disease, on the thieving scum-bags.

Gutted for you :(

It is worth checking the scrap yards yourself, the Police wont (they don't have the manpower for stuf like this) but if you find it they will react.

There are stainless hydraulic bulkheads on eBay, 5 for under £5 if you need some to start the rebuild.

What are your neighbours like?
My parents got burgled about 15 years ago, they knew that the fence on the right of the garden lifted out of the posts giving access to a small yard behind the next doors house.
This was the way they got the stuff out and into a van!

After an investigation it transpired it was the neighbours son that had set it up as he knew we were all going on holiday as we asked the neighbour Mother/father of said son to keep an eye on the house (done it for years and did the same for them) this is how he knew we were not there!

Little F****r, his parents went nuts at him and he was arrested for assisting in the burglary and got a "small" fine.
My parents never did get their sentimental belongings back and we never found out what happened to the others! :x

Well I havnt done a brew day at home since July. No brewing gear so no chance :(

The good news is that I have ordered 2x70l pots and insulated tun. I still have all the electronics, I guess they were more expensive in reality so going to get them all sorted out and installed at long last and await the arrival of my pots!

Still have to save up for ball valves, 2xelements, solar pump, locking nuts, false bottom, underback, extractor fan and all the endless trips to the plumbing shop for 'that' piece I didnt plan for! Oh yeah and 6xCornies...

At least I got £50 MaltMiller vouchers for xmas!

Thanks Stone Cold. PM me with what you have got. Cant make any payment until the 8th. Xmas has run me dry!

Thanks,

D

If i had some spare kit it would already be in the post. Really rubbish news I suppose the lemonade from these lemons is the unexpected chance to rebuild. Probably not the greatest consolation.

Very sorry to hear that Darc :(
The process must change. You rock up, they clock your registration, could have been bought yesterday and not registered, you tell them where you would like to live as your address, you can sign Micky Mouse and they hand out the wonga

The process has recently changed..

Now you have to provide formal ID( passport or DL) and supply a bank account for the money to be paid into. Ca$h has gone from scrappies. It is worth having a ride around.

Ah well, I have not really had the time to brew anything even if I did have the gear! At least some of the itch is scratched at work!

I'll be ordering some hose + SS tank connectors soon v!

No! But get involved in all of it. I run the office, sales and stores there now. So around the brewing alot. Its a really good job. I get to do the 90% of the comercial side... the 'bad' bit that spots most people going pro. Lots of spreadsheets and calculating. Great to talk to all the brewerys out there. Marble does alot of colabs aswel so nice to meet all the brewers that come down.

I do drool over the hop store alot of the time!

Still, come get some yeast! It is an odd one! Breaks all the rules!

Thieving twats, can't abide thieves! Ramming an airlock up their arses is too good for them..feckers!

Hope the rebuild goes ok.

If you have a crime number and you have a chat with the old bill, they might give you some smartwater, they did for me. They rifled the wifes car, I've since installed cctv.

All my brewing stuff is in the loft, it's a pain to get out, but it's the price I pay etc to keep it safe.

I'm with Vossy on this, 6.5ft wall...who can see that...?neighbours?
