Steel City brewer saying hi...

Hello all, I'm Dan and I work full time at The Sheffield Tap, a renowned beer house in South Yorkshire, and part time (well, now and again) for Steel City microbrewery helping to create some of Sheffield's finest, hop-heavy craft beers.

Home brewing wise, I still have a lot to learn - I've recently upgraded from dabbling with extract kits to AG through the purchase of an Elecrtrim 5 gal boiler and immersion wort chiller. I'm looking forward to engaging with the folks on here and sharing in some of the vast knowledge that seems to be accumulated on this forum. Feel free to say hi! :

i must say the sheffield tap is the best pub ive been into for beer selections and the knowledgeable staff

The tap is an excellent pub and probably the finest station bar Ive been in...

...but I think the Welly is the best pub in Sheff. I was never out of there when I lived there.

Still will be having couple in tap come november hopefully
