Hi folks,
Continuing the clear out of stuff I don’t use I have 4 stainless carbonation caps.

I use the plastic ones all the time, I must have about 20!!

They work for gas and liquid disconnects.

There are two different styles as you’ll see from the pics. They seal fine, but the ones without the o-ring really do need some ptfe tape.

£20 and I’ll post to uk mainland.

Hiya! Interested in maybe one of these? Got plenty of o-rings so shouldn't be a problem. Question about using these - how long do you leave the bottles on the gas with these? is it a 1 bottle left for days situation, or blast inject CO2 into each and you can do a whole batch in a few hours?

I tend to use these (but the plastic ones now since I have a bucket full) to bottle the extra left in the ferment or leave them on if I’m taking a few to a friends.

If you want to bottle a batch with these from something like a Fermzilla you’ll need to get it carbonated before and chill it as cold as possible.

If you want to carb in these then you could do it with a few but wouldn’t want to do an entire batch.
