St Peter's Porter.

I started a St peter's Porter today and while reading the destructions I noticed there wasn't any mention of the powdered hop sachet. Nevertheless I've used it and put it in before adding the contents of the yeast packet.....have I done right? :whistle:

Yes you have. Am on my 3rd brew of this. They somehow didn't put that on their instructions but its the same for all the other kits. I noticed it says honey flavour and not honey. Any idea what the difference is? Either way i really like this beer!

I would imagine flavour means that there isn't any honey in it just an artificial flavour of honey, which to my mind is disappointing.

I totally agree, got 80 pints to drink and i hate artificial flavours especially sweeteners. Have emailed St Peters to ask.
Will let you know their reply.

I'm thinking they ommit using real honey in the kit as its a natural sugar and would cause problems making the concerntrate for the brew, could always prime bottles/keg using honey...
