Anybody have any special plans or doing anything fun for St. Patrick's Day? Here in the US, it's an excuse for excessive drinking. Pubs open very early (0600?) for drinking and have drink and food specials all day. In Chicago, they will dump an environmentally friendly green dye into the river to give it that "emerald isle" flair!

I plan to have a few pints of my stout tonight. Had I planned better I would have made Irish stew for dinner but am making burritos instead. ;-)

Just had coddle for tea and have opened a stout I did back last September. Quite a low key one this year as Mrs Mcs away in Paris with Uni, usually have family and friends around with the fire lit in the garden when it falls at the weekend.
Will have a nip of Midleton before bed.

Slainte :drink:

Do you still have parties with dwarves dressed as leprechauns serving green  beer ,like in Boardwalk Empire?

Ah, tradition. :drink:

I had a CAMRA meeting. It was... "fun".

I did manage to have a bottle of Marble's Stouter Port Stout when I got home though.

Happy belated St Diageo Day everyone.
