Sorry if in wrong place and maybe a new menue option should be added for reviews of new beers? Anyway point of my post is this, I was recently on holiday in Scilliey Isle and got my hands on a new St Ausstal beer a stout that apparently hasn't been brewed since well you've guess!?ed 1913 following a shortage of dark malt due to the war effort. This beer has just been recently recreated and is only available at the moment in St Austall pubs which are abundant over Cornwelll way, I reluctantly paid £3.59 for one bottle at 5.2% abv for the novalty of trying a new beer from the pub, good idea to try and get the customer in pub bad for beer as a whole as pub is tied to brewery. The beer itself was nice had aroma of coffee and deep finish anyone else heard or tried this beer or am I priverliged? Anyone got a recipe!
