so far i have got 7 brews going, one i am now drinking, these were nearly all 'no need to add sugar' and i will be looking to use spraymalt in the future, so far for priming my bottles i have been using 1/2 teaspoon of normal sugar and i am happy with the carbonation, if i use spraymalt to prime should i use the same ammount ?, will carbonation be less ? will abv be a lot less and can i add a tiny bit more, ie 3/4 of a teaspoon to rectify ?

I love spray malt while I don't like using sugar , however when priming in bottles you may as well stick to using sugar as its such a small amount it will make no noticeable difference except price ,sugar is cheaper

Agreed; been using sugar for 30 years. If you can't find a problem, there probably isn't one - aka - if it 'aint broke, don't fix it!

yep, your right there..ill save this bag then...i do really want to brew another beer and use this instead of sugar to see the difference, unfortunateley, its not possible to buy say, aldershott ale with sugar in and aldershott ale with sugar out..that would be the best way to gauge the difference..ill have to go hunting for some one tin kits..though they are a lot cheaper than the 2 tin kits it seems
