Since taking on a house and an allotment I'm really struggling to find the time to squeeze in a brew day.

I'd rather not go back to extract so I'm wondering if its possible to do a mash and sparge on say, a Monday afternoon/evening, then come back and do the boil the tuesday afternoon.

I'm fortunate that I work a shift pattern that means I frequently am able to get home by 16:30ish two days in a row. Would the wort go off or be somehow damaged in the intervening 16-20 hours or so?

Thanks all!

this was covered recently, a quick search will find the thread I am sure :thumb:

to summarise:

the wort will be fine but you will be boiling from a much lower temp and it will take a long time to come up to boil.
