Hi All,
Been away for a while but returning with this brewday:

I brewed a recipe from spiedels own website the festival beer recipe,

Grains:
2kg pilsner:

2.5 kg Munich malt:

500g carapils:

Hops:
10g Tettnang @ 70 mins
40g Tettnang @10mins
10g perle 15 mins

Also trial of my new homemade hope spider, carefully and (painfully!) stitched together with stainless steel wire:

All went well and gladly no hop seeds etc in plate chiller:

As per lagers a low slow ferment at 12c and it's now layering at 1.5C-2C

This will lager for about 4 weeks then get transferred to cornie keg and not touched until October.:drink:
