Gout. I know this might be a very painful issue for some people but I feel like I've got ask.
Is home-brewed beer more likely to give me gout than 'mass-produced' beverages? If so, is there a scientific reason why - something to do with the higher amount of filtering involved? I'm 33, drink 4-6 pints of home brewed booze over the course of a week and am reasonably active.
Any biologists/science types out there who might be able to lift my ignorance!
Cheers!
