What do people use as a filter to stop the little solar pump from clogging up with grain bits

I use the pump to push the water from the HLT to the tun and gravity drain from the tun to a bucket...

.....so can't help at all really

Thanks for that Sean you know when your head just gets stuck and you cant see another way around it well its been like that today

I manually recirc the first couple of litres using a big plastic jug and it is normally only the first litre where I get a few bits of grain coming through - once this is clear I then recirc with the solar pump for 10 mins then switch/redirect the outlet pipe to the boiler.

aslomg as you have a grain filter in the bottom of the MT then the particles will me tiny and souldnt block the pump
