Hi all, I got a solar pump 12v a while ago to rig up a recirculation system. I've been looking at getting this powered and thought I could use a 12v multiplug adaptor. Having dug this out the connectors don't actually fit!! So, anyone any idea if a 12v 7aH battery would power this, or another simple way to plug it into the mains? Any help much appreciated 👍

I guess a 12v battery should be fine. In my camper I don't have a 240v set up, so I run a car battery charger to my 12v leisure battery, then run lights and fridge off that. Amm /seems/ OK...

Excellent, thanks for that. I've also been looking at other ideas as found reference to these VCE DC Power Connector Male Female 5 Pairs 5.5mm x 2.1mm 12V Power Jack Plug for CCTV Camera: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools

May get a cheap one from ebay to see if they work with the Multiplug adaptor. My original plan was to get a solar panel kit and I think a battery for it to charge. May have the quick optio now and then a battery later in the year. 👍

Yeah, I also needed a 12v set up for some fans I run to cool a projector, so I just cut the cable off a 12v adapter and wired it directly - that also works well as and option!
