Yes, I did wonder when I read the topic title, but I can fully appreciate the ulterior motive. :thumb:

I will confess to watching X-Factor though, but recorded or on delay so I can skip all the preamble and adverts, condensing the programme to about half an hour.

Rip my toe nails out rather than watch those programs.....But I do like them being on the tv....my wife and daughter totally glued to the box leaving me in glorious Peace to do whatever.

I,m pretty lucky because SWMBO thinks strictly x-factor etc are sh%te too. But what is there to watch on Saturday night. Bring back Russ Abbotts mad house!.

I sometimes wonder if the tv companies receive backing from the breweries...... put **** on the tv on a Saturday night and drive folks out to spend money in the pubs that are struggling to survive....

Happily my Mrs isn't fussed about that rubbish telly, and my kids don't get a chance to watch it while I'm around

My family is so blasted active most of the time I have peace and quiet because some or all of them are out doing swim club or something else

I thought that would get you lot fired up.

So here we are Saturday night and peace and quiet. Now, where did I put that recipe creator...

the thought of lisa riley (aka Mandy Dingle) dancing about in a tight leotard and sequins gets me excited
