Can anyone point me in the right direction for small batch BIAB kits?

I'm wanting to try a 5 litre BIAB kit if possible. Or if any of you guys could put me a kit together I'd be much appreciated (obviously will pay)

I'm wanting a nice NEIPA or just an nice IPA would be good.

TIA

Crossmyloof are decent and do 1 gallon kits as well as a variety of other kit sizes, personally I rather enjoyed their Pliny the elder kit (a double IPA. though not a NEIPA).

Geterbrewed has their custom all grain kits, they do charge shipping but grain prices are Pretty reasonable.

Another option that might be worth considering is just do a simple SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop) so order say a kilo of base malt and as you are looking for IPA’s, Citra or Mosaic would likely be good choices for the hop, The below thread is also worth checking out if you haven’t already done so.

Ahh much appreciated buddy

Hi,
I'd second the recommendation for CML kits. Drinking their Maori Mingle NEIPA at the moment, excellent if you love a hoppy beer. The guys there are also very friendly so you could email to see costs for kits less that 10l.

When I initially started playing with the Brewfather app I input a recipe from a book (Greg Hughes is a good start). You can put in the recipe for 23l then use the scale option to get your desired batch size. You can change the efficiency as well. Fir BIAB mine is typically around 70%. As you brew you'll get a handle on efficiency.

The thread to having a go at AG posted above is also an excellent starting point. I must have read through that a few times for info before doing my first AG....haven't looked back since. Good luck and enjoy the experience 🍻🍻

I'd say put one together yourself. For pale ales a few kg of pale malt, a kilo of malted wheat and some crystal, a pack or two of hops, a dry yeast like Liberty Bell or Gervin from Wilko and you can experiment with various combinations and dry hopping etc. For NEIPA you want a good amount of oats but any breakfast rolled or flaked oats will work for a 5L batch.

There's some decent 5L kits on eBay tho to start you off but in the long run it's better to source your own ingredients
