I am currently making my first brew of cider just now but have been talking with my brewing buddy about using his sloe drupes (had to google that there) from his tree and having some nice sloe gin.. I spoke to someone recently who said if we start soon it could be a nice christmas treat..

Essentialy is this a recipe for the novice or should I finish sharping my teeth with cider?

Regards,

Clum :D

If you can put things in a demijohn, put a bung on the DJ and then shake that DJ every day, then you can make sloe gin!
