I have bought 2 Brewferm Abdij kits to make an 18 litre brew. I was wondering if there is any reason to pitch both of the 6g yeast sachets? It is expected to be an 8% beer so does this mean that using more yeast is advisable? I suspect it will do no harm chucking them both in but if i can save a sachet for some experimental stuff then i may save a couple of quid on a brew-and-hope a little way down the line

I would pitch them both, it's a strong beer so will need a lot of yeast to ferment it out. If you under-pitch you could end up with a stuck brew and/or ruined beer.
