Hi I am very new to homebrewing and finished my first batch of Ritchies Premium lager last week. It has now been in 1 litre bottles (primed with 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar in each) for 8 days. They have been in a box in my living room and according to my estimates is between 21c during day/evening and probably 14c at night...should i just keep the bottles where they are or move them to the shed? Will it make a massive difference?

I had a small sample on Friday night and it tasted not too bad actually, decent bubbles but tasted a bit yeasty and not very crisp...

They should be sufficiently carbonated now to move to the garage. Doing this will cool them and help them to clear better, and to help the co2 dissolve into the beer better. Leave them in the cold for at least 2 weeks!

Ok thanks I will move them to shed today and then report back in two weeks :)

I would

 you got some willpower pal :thumb: I'd have been in there and had a taster by now :!:

Well the extra week was a bit optimistic i think...made it till Tuesday night and cracked open a bottle, well impressed with the taste nice and bubbly and crisp in flavour, it can only get better!
