Hi,
I started a SG 30btl 7 day rose kit off, About 3 weeks ago or more and having been busy withvmy Hooch, WOW and TC forgot about it. I have checked the wine and it is 0.995 and as clear as a bell.

I know I need to add the stabiliser, but if I follow the instructions I have to also add 2 lots of finings and degass it in the same vessel. Which to me seems like defeating the object. Would it be a better option to syphon it into a separate vessel add stabaliser, degass let it settle back sweeten and bottle? Or is that silly just thought I'd ask before attempting it.

Thanks

I asked the very same question when i first started making kits and was told to follow the instructions, i know it seems crazy to stir up something that is already clearing nicely but they tell you to do it in the same FV or DJ for a reason and as you are going to add the bits and pieces anyway there wont be much time saved by the time it has cleared again.

Thanks Chippy I am glad I asked before hurtling ahead. Will do it now and with luck have it in the bottles by the weekend, even I can't drink all that much before it hits the bottles.
