Love my 7 gallon one. A thing of beauty.
The build quality is worth every penny, the welding is spot on as well. Can’t wait to christen it. I’ve got some Wyeast 1084 warming up ready to go on the stir plate this afternoon :beer1:

Did you do the whole passivation thing? I just got 2 new brew buckets too, ended up going down the rabbit hole of Homebrew advice for passivation and now have a couple kilos of citric acid on its way.

Funny you should mention passivation. I’ve just PBW’d it and then used some Bar Keeper’s Friend to passivate. A quick rinse in the morning and then starsan before christening it :beer1:

Christened with a stout. I love the shinyclapa

The only thing I don’t like (probably my own fault) is the racking arm. The two small washers that fit on the dip tube seem a bit loose- even with lubrication they catch on the female side when inserting the dip tube. I’ve deformed a washer already.

Does anyone know the size of the o-rings to buy some spares?

Nice looks like a perfect fit in the ferm chamber.
So passivation is happening now. Following the Nasa guidelines. Probably doesn't matter though. I have a mini brew bucket in use that looks exactly the same as 2 years ago when I bought it and didn't passivate.
