As anyone brewed this recipe i have just started to drink this and i do love Sheps Spitfire,i took this recipe from Normans Real Ale Almamac the taste is about spot on but the colour is no where near its to light more like a pale ale and spitfire is a bit on the ruby side anyone how to tweak it.
Halcyon P.M 3754 gms.
Amber malt. .250.gms
Crystal Malt .400.gms
Wheat Malt .200.gms
Torrified .400gms

As prolix says use a little dark malt, chocolate or black malt or brewers caramel to adjust the colour :)
