Hi All
I've got a Brupac Linthwaite Light on day 11 seems to have stopped at 1012. Just tasted the test jar and it seems OK just very "light".I know it still has to condition and should improve. Should I leave it alone or should I dry hop it? I have some cascade and some saaz. If I add, how much should I put in. Anyone done this kit? I have lost the instructions, can any advise on the amount of priming sugar they recommend please? Advice would be appreciated

Cascade would be my choice if you brewed it at higher temps 20 - 25°C but saaz would be good too if you like a peppery aftertaste. Depending on how hoppy you like your beer for the dry hop, I would add around 25 - 30g when fermentation is complete. I would use about 120g for priming but I like fizz.

Thanks, so if I get peppery from saaz, what would I get from cascade?

It has a pleasant, flowery and spicy, citrus-like quality with a slight grapefruit characteristic. The hop is good for both flavor and aroma uses. It can also be used for bittering effectively, and can be used to make any ales, and indeed is characteristic of American pale ales; used in some lagers.

Sounds like it's cascade then, cheers
