Is it ok to use the juices that are stored in the fridge in supermarket, my co-op had cheap red grape, welches - reduced to clear!!

can i use these instead of the ones that live on the shelves!?

Absolutely :thumb:
Just use them quickly as they haven't been pasteurised like the ones on the shelves and can start to ferment on their own :thumb:

Hi Crackoff,

I guess so, just check the ingredients, if it says 100% juice then go right ahead, if there´s any mention of preservatives you will need to boil it.

Sorry if I don´t get back to any messages or take a while responding, I´m in Tenerife

To moley - It's alrite for some!

to tubby - thanks! going to give it a go right now, well as soon as the sugar syrup cools down enough!!!

one orange and white grape
one apple and red grape
one apple with white grape
one cranberry with white grape

I've got 40 pints of lager to bottle up, but that might have to wait til tomorrow!!!

Avoid juice drinks as these are primarily water based .The white grape and apple IMO is a real winner!!
Quaffable in 4 weeks but best left for 4 weeks and 1 day
