Hi folks,

I've been reading up on the leaking keg problems.... as I seem to have one. It's more of a seepage than a leak. I can't trace where it's coming from yet the keg is sitting in a little beer. It's out in the garage so no problems with SWMBO and there really is very little. It is beer 'cos it's sticky (thought it might be condensation at first). The tap seems dry as does all the seams on the keg. The funny thing is, the keg is holding pressure.... a lovely carbonated pint with that swirling cloud of little bubbles that looks so good. It doesn't taste over-fizzy and the head, after settling is quite stiff and long lasting.
But where the hell is the leak coming from??? I'm going to wash it all down under the keg today, dry it off, and see if it returns. Any ideas? :wha:

suspect you may have a pin prick size leak in the keg somewhere... might try some soap solution on area above the beer line to see if there's any coming out there, and you could rub a little talc or flour on the lower parts to hopefully better show a beer leak :hmm:

Hi Eddie
Its a white, plastic barrel-shaped keg with S30 inlet valve. There's no manufacturers name on it and it's the first time it's been used.
Cheers
