 My First attempt at Brewing.
I'm Brewing a Young's Larger I have Bottled my Larger with 1/2 Tea Spoon of Granulated Sugar per Pint Bottle given it a good shake and stood for almost 3 days ( the instructions say to stand for 2days) in a warm room temp 20-25 c.
I have now moved my bottles to a cooler area for hopefully another 14 days as per instructions,
Looking at the bottles it appears there is some not alot of sediment settled in the bottom of the bottles not sure without opening bottle if it is Sugar or what ever.
Is this normal or does it sound like something as gone wrong?.
Opinions or advise welcomed as I am a complete beginner. Regards Al

perfectly normal just decant into another container ie a jug being carful not to stir the sediment up when your ready to drink. its fine if you do a bit wont hurt you anyway :drink:

Something you might want to think about it keeping the beer in a warm room for longer than three days. Most would recommend holding then in a warm room for 10 to 14 days before moving to cold storage.

You might want to experiment by keeping a few in the house for an extra week just to gauge what difference it makes.

Which Youngs brew was it? I brewed a Youngs definative brew a month or so back & it wasn't that nice untill around 3 weeks out of the FV into bottles. Not one I'd buy again to be honest, but at £6.99 for 23L I didn't complain... much  .

I've tried a few now & keep going back to Coopers kits :thumb: .

 Youngs BrewBuddy Lager it smells good and Ive had a sip of it and it tastes quite nice so fingers crossed  Al
