Hi Y'all

whilst I love a dark malty xmas beer and I've had quite a few this winter I'm craving a few lighter hoppy beers....

but I don't have any stocks :-(

any of you peeps in the same dilemma?

did you brew for the season but fancy something else instead?

Yes Dad, got plenty o wine n cider but I'm craving a light summer ale, I put it down to too many rich n sweet foods over xmas and me body temple saying have something less heavy

Yes me too,I'm going to order a Festival kit I think as I have reservations about my Euro lager with 100g of Falconers Flight pellets, and it will take forever!
Getting a bit sick of my Wherry and almost finished my Beerworks Sheepdog Bitter :thumb:

I went out and bought two "hoppy" beers last night after finishing my yipa at new year.

The commercial market doesn't understand my hop pallet... :-(

My thinking exactly dad, I put on a pimped Coopers Cerveza last Sunday, looking forward to trying my first chilled tester about a month from now.

Had a lot of English IPA and EPAs and the last of my stout over xmas so was thinking of going down the american hop next (and an AG lager)

My brotehr got me a HBC 20 poiund voucher so was thinking of treating myself to one of their kits, the kraken Amber Ale caught my eye

I don't brew seasonally I just brew what I like whenever. I mostly brew dark beers but occasionally I like a bitter so I'll brew a larger amount than normal so it lasts me

I'm not really a fan of Christmas beers with spices and the like in them so I steer well clear of any Christmas themed ales. Spoke to a guy last night who owns a bar and he reckons a local brewer had two unsold casks of Christmas beer, took one home to drink and poured the other out. Not much call for Christmas beers in January!
