Hi All,

I'm searching for some Russian Hops, known as "Serebrianka" or "Serebrianker" (also known as Silver Hops). Basically, it's the father of the hop we all know and love as Cascade.

However, this hop has an earthy aroma of tobacco, black tea, and herbs.... which I'd really like to shove in a porter!

I cannot for the life of me find any of these hops anywhere. The only thing I can find is a Serebrianka Plant - located in the USA... Rather useless to me here in the UK!

I don't mind importing pellets/Leaf from the US, if I can find some of the blasted things!

I can only find a tenuous alternative substitute of Czech Premiant. Before I go down the substitution route..... does anyone have any Serebrianka tucked away in their freezer? Or know of a homebrew shop/website that stocks these elusive Serebrianka hops?

Thank you in Advance!

Hi!
Tested for 20 years in the US but discarded, principally because of its low yield.
A low-yield hop will not be attractive to commercial hop growers, so you may be on to a loser!
