I have acquired a bunch of these and would like to know how to go on about sanitizing them. I use Star San 5 Star no rinse stuff. Can I just sanitize the lot, swing the caps on and then use as required when the bottling time arrives? Or should I leave the bottles uncapped and use a piece of aluminum foil to cover their mouths? Thanks.

i had the same kind of thing from Lidl's i had got quite a bit ago. £1.50 for a 1litre swingtop glass "waterbottle" (but i had other uses for it  ) i sanitized it. then kept the seal shut, because its airtight i believe that it would be fine, it was for me in the end, but it'd be safer to either re-sanitize them when you need to use them or cover them with clingfilm/aliminium foil.

Clean them invert them allow to drain and dry, clip seal shut . . .when ready to use, open, squirt star san, fill . . .done
