Not only do you get 1/3 off the price, but they are Larger kits, priceless :shock:

Hoppy Sunday

Kilner offer all that the novice to intermediate home brew enthusiasts needs, for fantastic flavoured beers, ciders and wines. The Kilner range has the perfect tools for the job.

Glad they didn't mention experienced enthusiasts. :lol: I wonder if you are supposed to drink it from a Kilner Jar :wha:

Bob, they do bottles too, if you were interested 750ml flip top ones, look quite good too :hat:

Did you notice that FV is on the small size? A good working beer kit will climb outta that.

Good catch, would make a good cheap secondary though, but I bought one from the wilko sale for about the same price.

I think those are for their standard sized kits. These larger ones will need a larger fermenter :D .

I think Kilner have only recently come into the market and I suspect they are trading on their name from their jars. From what I've seen of their products so far is that they tend to be towards the upper end of the price scale.

Don't bother with the FV. It's a long off the quality of others. It's thin, it's small, there's no moulded handles and wire top handle is too thin. Also the lid (on mine anyway) won't snap down!

Spend a bit more on a good one ;)

I let them know about the error and this was part of the response;

"Thank you for your email about the spelling mistake on our updated website. I am sorry that the word "larger" has been spelt as "larger" in numerous items. I can appreciate your disappointment."

Excellent!

another "customer manager" has since corrected the error in the email.

I'm not sure who's going to spend £2 on a single empty beer bottle. They've not thought that one through.

They have a right good sale on the Kilner home brew equipment in store atm. I got a load of 500ml bottles for 90p, half a dozen 750ml bottles for £1.05, 500 crown caps at 90p/50, bottle stoppers for £3/12, hydrometer £1.50, trial jar £1.50, thermometer £1.50, bitter kit £7.50. They also had the knock on bottle cappers for £1.50.
