A few weeks ago I brewed an IPA which I then fermented without any temperature control over the week of the really really hot weather. The thermowell reading hit around 26-27 degrees at times during primary fermentation.
It’s been sitting in a Corny for a couple of weeks and I’ve just drawn off a sample and it tastes OK, not brilliant but OK, however it is very cloudy, something I’ve never experienced before. Will this brew be ok to drink or does it need to be chucked??

Any opinions would be most welcome.

Cheers

Everything is safe to drink if you're brave enough ;)

In all seriousness though, if there's no off smells or flavours it's all good, what was your grain bill?

5kg Maris Otter
0.5kg Caramunich

I made a recipe based on Jaipur which I’ve done several times with no issues and great results. As I say, it tastes ok (not as good as previous efforts) but it’s very cloudy and lacks a bit of flavour compared to my previous efforts.

Glad you said Maris Otter, I've had a few brews with MO that have turned out a little like the SRM of a NEIPA so it may just ne that bag of malt mate.

Cheers buddy, take this reply as you being indemnified in case I have got it drastically wrong!!acheers.
