Anyone use these containers for fermenting. They do 40, 75 and 120 litre containers annd are on offer at the mo. Cant see if they are food safe. Any advice welcome
 
Those are often used by marine aquarists- to mix water with salt. I use one myself for that. I think they are food safe.
I will check tomorrow for markings on it and let you know
 
It does not say on the website description but there is a phone number just give them a call I am sure you will get the answer. It does say they are usable from -29 c to +60c
 
Mine Brute is grey in colour and has number 4 as marking it's grade:

#4 – LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
LDPE is often found in shrink wraps, dry cleaner garment bags, squeezable bottles, and the type of plastic bags used to package bread. The plastic grocery bags used in most stores today are made using LDPE plastic. Some clothing and furniture also uses this type of plastic.
LDPE is considered less toxic than other plastics... and so on

Apparently is not design for very long food storage - I would guess it means months - but for few weeks should be OK
