Nice label Rick. I now understand the reasoning behind clear bottles.

This opened with a slight hiss and subtle smoking gun CO2. This was so easy to pour as in a clear bottle you can see the approching sediment so much easier than in a brown bottle

This would have no problem passing a FEK TEST it its so clear. The first thing you notice is the hop aroma which is very pleasing. There was no head what so ever?? not sure if this is intentional as the beer is very lightly carbonated or if I used a greasy glass. The lack of carbonation is in no way a bad thing as this is a real easy beer to drink and hides it's 6% abv very well. Now im getting confused I thought I did not like highly hopped beer's but yet again I'm drinking a high hop beer and enjoying it. Im starting to learn high hopping does not result in a bitter tasteing beer. This is very much to my taste I like this well done Rick. im imppressed.

Ricks Sunday Best

Nice hiss on opening subtle hoppy aroma and a beautiful light nut brown head.

Lovely pint this Rick. To me it has a burnt, nutty, malty, treacley taste. No real over powering hop taste and the perfect bitterness for my taste. Well carbonated and the head clung to the glass right to the end. I would be quite happy to pay good money in a Pub for this beer :thumb: . If I ever come up with anything half as good as this I will be happy.

:D Glad it went down well mick :thumb: Small amounts of choc malt and roasted barley really add depth to a best bitter style I find - perfect for winter sunday afternoons :thumb:
